WHAT WAS IT - OR WAS IT EVER?

As a common serf, who considers his position under the thumb of earthly lords, it may be just as well to wonder if anything was ever as it was said to be, as in when things were good and noble and right, as it would be to not make much mention of it, nor to draw attention to my awareness of it, for this life is very short and a promised eternity full of what can never be found here is, thankfully and nevertheless, drawing so very near. (translation - shhhh... sheeple and zombies are not your friends - learn to blend in lest they point you out and scream!)
