Whether or not Thermite was used to bring down the World Trade Centers on 911 may never be proven. The evidence has been scooped up and deposited in the harbor. Those dying from strange ailments, the 1st responders, may or may not be victims of Thermite toxin residue. This scientist, Niels H. Harrit, Department of Chemistry, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, on TV2NEWS April 06, 2009 claims to have a pretty sound argument that the New York disaster was augmented by this steel melting incendiary.
If it were used, how much would have been needed, how did the terrorists get it on board the jets, and how were they able to cause it to flow down into the towers to melt the beams? This scientist has only theories to offer, being that much of the evidence is still classified or just plain removed from the site.The other thing about the Thermite theory is in the way it has been shown that steel only melts when the compound is laid upon it horizontally. To drop the Twin Towers wouldn't the vertical steel beams need to be melted, and not the horizontal ones? Is this scientist trying to move his theory beyond the facts? Or, is there more to this story than meets the 'official' government approved 'eye'?
